Our baby turned 10 months today! This is all going a bit too fast for my liking! Although I won't be having any more babies, it is bittersweet to watch your last baby inch closer to his first birthday. Time just seems to be going faster and faster. Did you know I'm 34?! That really just hit me. My birthday was in February. I hope I ate cake. I really like cake. With ice cream. But back to babies, mine is growing too fast.

Oh wow! He looks positively mature with the open V collared shirt! And the very pensive expression. I think God made babies so absolutely wonderful and lovable so we would shower them with love and affection so they can mature into someone wonderful. (If they weren't so cute, we wouldn't love them so much, and then they would grow up kind of messed up.) I don't know, that kind of helps me when I see how fast they grow up and I want to hold on to it. But then I remember the point is not for us to stay babies. God wants us all to mature and it will be even more wonderful. Yes? Happy belated birthday, Liz! Oh, also, it helps me to think of how wonderful babies are as a taste of what heaven is going to be like. I'll have to elaborate somewhere else. Sorry for the logorrhea!

It is so hard to watch the last one grow isn't it. Lauren will be two in August and there is very little baby left...mostly toddler now. Enjoy every minute.
